New Misc Ire

Some early Irish baptisms from Counties of Dublin, Galway, Kildare, Limerick, Longford & Westmeath. After reviewing a number of early parish registers, I am of the opinion that Claffey/Claffy was spelled whichever way the priest chose. Each priest seemed to have his preferred spelling. While most baptisms were done soon after birth, there were exceptions. If you find an ancestor listed, I can offer further direction in locating the record.
